I trained in Taekwondo for 6 years on and off. When I moved to the Upper Valley, I was not sure if I would find a school that would match the level at which I was training with my Taekwondo instructor. Once I joined Okinawan Karate Academy, I didn't look anywhere else. When you become a part of this community, you become a part of a family of wonderful people that want to see you succeed. The instructors are patient and kind. They will push and challenge you to become a better version of yourself. You'll learn strength, perseverance, and self-control. You may even learn how to conduct yourself outside of the dojo. You get out of karate what you put into it. If you are willing to put in the hard work, time, and dedication, you'll see yourself become more than you could imagine. And the instructors are there to help you become what you want to be.
